After his music career, Alyx began serving the electric utility industry in 1996. In 2001, he started the Engineering, Design and Construction Management operating unit under PAR Electrical Contractors (PAR), primarily servicing Southern California Edison (SCE). By late 2003, the operating unit became its own division of PAR where Alyx served as Operations Manager. In 2004, while still at PAR, Alyx helped to found and served as Division Manager of Utility Line Management Services (ULMS) which provided construction management and supplemental personnel services to SCE. In 2005, Alyx was promoted to Division Manager of PAR’s Engineering Division and continued to grow the organization and eventually became Director of the Western Region in 2013 for both PAR and ULMS. In 2015, Alyx was asked to consolidate four existing Quanta Services companies (PAR Engineering, ULMS, Utilimap and North Sky Engineering) into a single operating unit and Quanta Utility Engineering Services was formed. Alyx relocated from Los Angeles to Kansas City with his wife and five children. Alyx graduated from California Lutheran University with a B.S. in Business Administration with a focus on Management. Martin began his career with Quanta Services, Inc. in 2008 in the Controller role after serving as the Senior Manager on Quanta’s audit engagement team with PriceWaterhouseCoopers since 2004. In 2016, Martin left his role as Quanta’s Vice President of Accounting/Controller to help greenfield Quanta’s return to the telecom segment in an operational CFO capacity. As Telecom Segment CFO, Martin work with and supported operations leadership of Quanta Latin America, Quanta Telecom US and Quanta Telecom Canada. In late 2017, Martin accepted an opportunity help stand-up Quanta Utility Engineering Services as a platform electric power engineering operating unit within the Quanta portfolio of company. Steven has been in the utility business for over 20 years. He started as a Distribution Engineer for Carolina Power and Light and gained experience in Distribution over 15 years and two mergers, leaving Duke Energy for Quanta Technology in 2014. At Quanta Technology, Steven was a Senior Advisor in the Distribution and Asset Management team, performing consulting services for utilities from San Francisco to Saudi Arabia. Through some of the consulting work he was doing for Potelco, Steven was asked to lead the North Sky Engineering team (now QUES Div 61) in 2016 with plans to help that team grow and to help expand Quanta’s Engineering footprint in the southeast. Steven has a wife and two daughters, 10 and 8, that keep him busy whenever he is home. He also enjoys traveling and cruising with his family and enjoying good wine and whiskey with friends around a fire.

Tim joined the Quanta Services companies in 2011 and has been with the QUES organization since its inception. Before the formation of QUES, he had project, operational and executive management roles at both Quanta Services companies PAR Electrical Contractors and Utilimap, Corp. Tim has responsibility for the QUES Midwest operations, major pole attachment programs, and Storm Recovery response team. Phil retired from Southern California Edison (SCE) after completing a more than 30-year career in various positions including Principle Manager for the $520 million Pole Loading Program, Principle Manager of Substation Construction, Manager of Resource Planning and Performance, District Manager, and Project Manager. Prior to joining the ULMS Management Team, Phil’s other electric industry experience included Vice President Operations – Diversified Utility Services, Executive Project Manager on the Tehachapi Renewable Transmission Project for PAR Electrical Contractors and Director of Construction for Hampton-Tedder Company, providing field construction and testing oversight and business management. James Pratt was born and raised in a small town (Placerville) in Northern California. Upon graduation from High School James started an electrical lineman apprenticeship with PG&E. James spent 3 years as an apprentice and 3 years as a journeyman lineman. James ultimately wanted to learn more of the engineering and technology side and graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Computer Science/Engineering. James worked for SMUD, post college, for 8 years climbing the ranks from Distribution Engineer to Sr. Engineer to Project Manager. After 14 years in the utility sector, James left to join the private sector and worked for such companies as HDR and RES before landing at Quanta. Brian obtained an MCDBA and worked for several companies in the role of Database Administrator before accepting a position at the pre-Quanta acquired, Utilimap Corporation, in 2006. First starting at Utilimap, the IT group totaled a single person, so to see what we’ve grown to today – and the number of users we support – is nothing short of amazing. In 2006, she joined PAR Electric upon the creation of the planning, design, and engineering division in Kansas City. Stacy has been a part of the organization during the transition to Utilimap Corporation and now with QUES. Stacy has worked in various assignments over the years including; pole loading, drafting and design, prior to transitioning into the accounting and administrative side of the business. She has a B.S. in Business Administration from Baker University and an MBA from Friends University. Stacy has lived in the Kansas City area her entire life with her husband and three children. She loves being a mommy, thrives on challenges, appreciates teamwork, embraces change and enjoys the simple pleasures of life.
