We provide training, tools, equipment, and established work practices to create a safe work culture. There are no shortcuts, exceptions, or compromises – everyone is responsible for creating a safe work environment.
QUES requires employee training and compliance with safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries. We also provide continuous education and training to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
All levels of management support our zero-injury culture. Employees must follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures to protect themselves, colleagues, the community, and the environment.

Energy Wheel: “At QUES, we implement controls to allow for safe failure and mitigate the consequences of STKY events or “The Stuff that Kills You.” The Energy Wheel helps employees identify workplace hazards with STKY potential and equips workers to recognize energy sources and determine necessary controls to prevent life-ending, life-threatening, or life-altering injuries.”

Training: “The QUES team is provided multiple required and optional safety training courses and annual refresher training to ensure safe operations for our teams, customers, and members of the public.” This training includes:

Tailboards: Team Leaders and Lone Workers are responsible for conducting job hazard analyses daily.
Offices across the country participate in a Stretch & Flex program daily to reduce the potential of repetitive stress and ergonomic injuries.
Division offices host Safety Rodeos in partnership with local authorities and emergency responders to share best practices.
